New @ Posh

It's been a great weekend for new hair releases and here I can show you two of the new styles released at Posh. Above is Bang Baby Bang in Dirty Blonde, a trademark Posh style designed very long down the front and also finished off with a very cool sharply cut fringe. Bang Baby Bang is available in various color packs and is just soo cute for the summer.

The second style released at Posh this weekend is Morning After. Here I am wearing it in Dirty Blonde, and I must say if my hair looked like this the morning after I would be very happy. This cute and sexy style is designed as a bob with longer sections down the front and the fringe clipped back on the right side. The Glow by Lamb

The Chills and The Glow were the latest releases from Lamb this week, above I am wearing The Glow. A shoulder length bob with a very cool and stylish short fringe. This cute layered bob is Emma, the new release from I Love Olive. Designed with whispy layers blown back a little on the right side to create a light windswept look, perfect for the summer. Jeniffer - LeLutka

We all have our favorite hairstyles in SL and I have always been a fan of big hair. For a long time my favorite hair was Electra from LeLutkla, it was big, messy and very distinctive. That was until a few weeks ago when LeLutka released some great new styles and Jeniffer shown above became my new favorite hair. Jeniffer is just a mass of big messy curls, with lots of volume and lots of character, designed with very cute little whispy hairs sticking out to create a cool and funky design of exceptional quality.

Canta - Simply Britnee

Another stunning release from Simply Britnee this week, is Canta. This medium length feathured style has lots of big layers, creating a very cute and stylish hair design. Canta is extremely versatile and looks great with many different looks, and with the summer coming up, is a perfect addition to those summer outfits.

New @ I Love Olive

Something that always gets me excited is when I hear of new releases at my favorite stores, so with all the new releases at I Love Olive recently I am very happy indeed. Here I can show two more of the latest releases over at I Love Olive and they will not disappoint. First is the Bliss Hair above, which is an update of a previous I Love Olive style. A loose style ponytail, which now has an added color change bandana. Here i wear it in Miami Red, which is a new color and available in the red color packs.


The second new style is one I love so much and is called Cora. Cora is a cool avant garde style, which has a very unique look but is also extremely versatile and fantastic to create a variety of different looks from casual to couture. Its very difficult to choose a favorite hair store in SL but I Love Olive is defintaly high up in my top five. Follow the link below to check out these fabulous styles.

Isla by Simply Britnee

A recent release over at Simply Britnee is the fabulous Isla. Isla is a long layered style perfect for creating many different looks. The layers around the sides and bottom have a feathered appearance giving a very realistic look. Isla, like all other Simply Britnee styles is available in numerous different colors, above i am wearing Isla in Red Red. New Hair & Textures at Dark Mouse

Dark Mouse recently released some new hairs and hair textures, here I show you three of the new styles available. Above I am wearing Sabrina in Black Raspberry, Sabrina is a fantastic short style held back with barrettes on the left side and is ideal to create many different looks.

The next style I have the pleasure of showing is Kate in Licorice. Kate is a fun messy ponytail, very cool and funky and perfect to add to any casual outfit.


And finally Jill, a very classy updo that goes well with both formal and casual outfits. Jill is designed with a faux tortoiseshell hair piece at the back giving a very unique look, along with a color change hairband around the front.

Mix and Match with Feathers

If you saw the very first post on this site, you will have saw Milla from I Love Olive, this is a hair store I really love and you can find some very unique styles. Above I am wearing my favorite I Love Olive style, Celine in Rose Blonde. A very trendy and stylish updo with a long fringe fown the left side. Here I wore Celine with some very cool feathers, which form part of a JE*REPUBLIC style, to add a very different look. The original style Garam, from JE*REPUBLIC is a fabulous couture style so elegantly designed as you can see below. I am wearing Garam in Ivory and the feathers come with the hair style but are attached separately, making it ideal to mix and match with other styles as I did with Celine above. Katey from Truth

One of my favorite names and now favorite hair style is Katey from Truth. When I joined SL I planned to call myself Katie but as it would not let me, I decided to add in an m to get past the name part...little did I know I would be logging in again and keeping the name Katime for a long time. Maybe I should have tried with the spelling Truth Hawks used on this fantastic hair style, Katey. This is a style I love in RL so was very happy to find it in SL, a very simple long and straight style with long fringe. Katey is sexy and stylish, available in numerous colors and a pleasure to wear with many different outfits.

New Super Pumped

Yes, another Posh post but who can blame me with all the fantastic new releases today and the celebration of the grand opening of the new Posh store at the Liberty sim. I have already mentioned about the fantastic offers for red tone packs below so now its time to go back to my favorite blonde. Above I am wearing the New Super Pumped hair from Posh in dirty blonde, this new version of the hair is in reponse to many requests for a higher bump at the front and is now my new favorite hair.

Another new release from Posh today is Long Way Baby, designed with two long ponytails falling down the front. Very cute and stylish and like all other Posh styles, available in various color packs.

One of my all time favorite hair designers has to be Posh so today was a very happy day for me. Not only did Posh move to the cutest little store on the Liberty sim but also released many new deisigns. I Love Olive - Milla

For the very first Shiny Happy Hair post, I decided on a newer of my favorite hair designers, I Love Olive. I first came across this store when out searching for a specific updo and of course grabbed every demo in the store. I found exactly what I was looking for as well as many other cool styles. This is Milla, the newest release from I Love Olive and I totally love it, a long messy pleat with a little color change band at the bottom, perfect for a day at the beach or to add to any casual outfit to give a cute carefree look.

I love Olive hairs come in various fantastic colour packs but as I am most often blonde, I usually choose that as my favorite. Above you can also see Milla in Cotton Candy, Mocha and Natural Red. Welcome to the Shiny Happy Hair blog, focusing on old and new hair designs from the world of Secondlife.  Like the REM song Shiny Happy People, I feel very happy if I am having a good hair day and realised after searching numerous fashion feeds on a regualr basis for specific hair styles, there were few blogs which focused only on hair and hair accessories in secondlife.  It's an idea I have had for quite some time now and finally got round to starting it.  Hope you enjoy reading :)
