Yes Sunday 19 September is not only the last day of Hair Fair 2010 but also Bandana Day. The day that we all remove our hair to show we care and wear bandana's which are only sold at Hair Fair 2010, in aid of Wigs for Kids. As many of you will know the Hair Fair 2010 will end tomorrow, Sunday 19 September but you still have one day to head over there and try some demo's, as well as checking out the fabulous bandana's, made by residents of Secondlife as well as some great hair designers. Evie by ploom is currently on sale at the Hair Fair and is definately one of my favorites. Evie is a long straight style tied neatly on the right side with two little metal hair clips and looks great with a wide variety of outfits. Ploom is situated on Hair Fair 3.

Yes only one more day left for this years hair fair and Sunday 19 September 2010 we will see it close it's doors for another year and lets hope that much money was made for Wigs for Kids. There have been some really amazing new secondlife hair styles this year and here are some more of my favorites from Hair Fair 2010. First is a fabulous chic and sexy short style from W&Y, designed with the fringe swept over to the left side covering the left eye. It is very sleek and stylish and available in the all regular W&Y color packs.
Above is one of my favorite styles from the fair, Venus by Exile. I really love Exile hair and this is no exception. Venus is a very long layered style full of waves and loose curls, loosely falling down the left side and finished of with cute little color change flowers throughout.
Next is Nympha by Groovygirl Designs. Nympha is a fantastic style for the summer months and perfect to wear when spending your days at the beach or wandering around Secondlife Hawaii. Designed in a long style with wavy layers throughout and a cute flowered color change headband, perfect for matching with your favorite bikini.
Above is the very sophisticated Sandra Hair from JE*REPUBLIC. Sandra is made with the hair twisted down each side in a very unusual and distinctive way and piled high on top of the head with a thick braid around the front. Sandra also comes with this optional fabulous Hair Deco with sparkling jewels embedded onto some beautiful flowers attached to a pearl headband. The perfect hair to wear with any formal outfit.
Another favorite of mine and more of a casual secondlife hair style is Sleeping Twin by BC322. Cut just above the shoulders and tied into two cute ponytails, one a little lower down than the other, I guess the lower ponytail is the sleeping twin. The loose strands of hair at the sides and layered fringe adding a very realistic look and finished off with optional cute plaid ties. The scripts can also be deleted, perfect for any models buying hair from BC322.
Next is Breathe Me Hair from Shag. I did not come across Shag Hair until earlier this year and as I have said on this site before, being a blonde can be difficult when finding the right color textures but with Shag Hair I love every blonde shade in the color pack. Breathe Me is a gorgoeus big hair style full of flowing layered waves like it is blowing in the wind.
And finally is Sam by Berries Inc Hair. Sam is designed with long layered hair with the left side falling down the front and finished off with this very sylish color change hat trimmed with a black ribbon. Another superb new hair style available at the Hair Fair 2010 is Jade by Curio. I saw this style on my first visit to the hair fair and just had to buy it. Jade is a very cute updo style, designed with the hair tied on top of the head in a very big bow and some whispy strands of hair around the nape of the neck adding a high quality finish. If you are into cute hair styles and bows then this is certainly one you will not want to miss. If you read further down this blog you would have seen the gorgeous sequenced bandana from Vanity Hair on sale at the Hair Fair 2010 and now it's time for another new style from Vanity Hair, Laguna Bay. Laguna Bay is very unique and if you are looking for an avant garde hair style for runway or shoots this is perfect. It is smoothly swept up from the back and sides and falls down the right side of the face, reaching the waist. There have been some really great new hairstyles at the Hair Fair 2010 and Tae by [kik] is definately one of my favorites. Tae is a chic updo style that comes with two wear options, the first see the sides tied back into a very neat braid running along the base of the head and the second with the sides tied back into a low knot slightly to the left of the head. Both options have some strands of hair falling out down the left side, which adds a very unique look. Tae is a very sophisticated style and looks great with both casual and formal outfits. MIEL is well known for it's fabulous hand drawn clothing designs but also sells some fantastic accessories, shoes and hair, and the Martini hair now on sale at Hair Fair 2010 is no exception. The front section of the hair is swept up high on top of the hair and the sides twisting loosely down the left shoulder. The fringe sweeps down to the right and the whispy strands of hair throughout giving a very realistic touch. I have always had a great admiration for secondlife designers and one thing thats stands out so much is how hair designs and textures have improved over the years. Each year at the Hair Fair I see such fabulous designs and there are always new styles that stand out in a unique way, this year it was the Anememe Hair from [iC] Hair. Anememe is a very distinctive updo style with cute little birds nested in a some plaid ribbons on top of the head. 
Here I am wearing copper and yellow from the Coppers color pack but Anememe is also available in various other colors. The plaid ribbon is color change and can be changed to a variety of different colors to match with the outfit you are wearing. Another of my favorite hairs from the fair is Elsa by Kin. A medium length hair style, softly swept back to the left side. This is a very versatile style and looks great with both casual and formal outfits and because of the smooth nature of the hair, it is perfect for wearing with hats and other hair accessories to add your own unique touch. Already featured in an earlier post is the gorgeous Miamai Bandana for the Hair Fair 2010 and now it's time for the extrordinary new Miamai hair releases now on sale at Hair Fair 2010. Above is the Never hair style designed with three high buns intertwined with long locks of flowing hair and finished off with this fantastic HeadJewel of a black bird sat in a cluster of sparkling jewels. The HeadJewel comes as a separate attachment and can be worn with or without.
Next is the Anabae hair style, the main part of the style designed in the shape of an umbrella and then reaching up like a tower encased in luxurious jewels and underneath a long fringe held in place with a matching headband. The color range of these new releases is just amazing with colors ranging from the BlindWhite and WitchBlack to FuckedUpBlue and StarFucker as worn above. 
Above is the Donna Bun, a beautiful and elegant large bun sitting high on the head leading to a smaller bun at the end and finished off with this stunning jeweled headband. Donna is a pure delight to wear and is the perfect updo hair style to add to any formal outfit for a sophisticated and unique look. It is available in a variety of colors with the option of platinum or gold headband, above Donna is worn in Platinum Blonde.
Next is Ayana, a very distinctive updo style with the long hair swept back to the right side with lots of body and height and long strands of hair falling loosely down the right side. This is a fantastic updo style for runway and shoots or for times when you just want to stand out from the crowd in a unique and stylish way.
Finally for times when you want to feel like a historic princess, it is the Invicta Tail. Designed with an elegant ponytail tied up at the back of the head with a pretty jeweled clip. The ponytail is then encased in this fabulous ornate headpiece, which is embellished in sparkling jewels. Invicta is an elaborate updo style prefect for RP, runway and print and this majestic head piece is available in Gold or Platinum, here the Invicta Tail is worn in Gold Tail Brown.

Yes it's the 4 September and today is the day Hair Fair 2010 opens it's doors. If you want to be sporting the best new secondlife hair designs then this event is for you and with proceeds going to Wigs for Kids, it is certainly very worthwhile. The first style I am showing is The Affair from Atomic. I am a huge fan of Atomic Skins and the hair is just as fantastic. The Affair is a very elegant and chic side ponytail, with the long fringe softly sweeping down to the left, where it is neatly ties into a side ponytail with little clips.
Here it is shown in two of the colors from the blonde pack Bleach and Dirty Blonde but all Atomic hair styles are available in various color packs, with a color to suit everyone. Hair Fair 2010 will open the doors tomorrow on four sims filled with fabulous new hair designs from some of Secondlife's old and new hair designers, all in aid of Wigs for Kids. The Hair Fair opens tomorrow and will run until 19 September 2010. This year it spans over 4 sims instead of two, dramatically reducing lag and there is also an inworld demo group so you can try the demo's before you even arrive there making for a better shopping experience. 
On the 19 Septemeber is Bandana Day, which happens every year bringing the secondlife community together by everyone removing their hair and wearing one of the fantastic bandana's, not only created by secondlife hair designers but also members of the public. This year is no exception and the range of bandana's is spectacular, I was lucky enough to get an early visit to the site and here I have two of my favorite bandana's from Hair Fair 2010. The first is LoveMe Hair Bandana by Miamai, a beautiful red satin bandana with cute little hearts flowing out.
Next is the Bandana from Vanity Hair, a beautifully sequenced bandana full of sparkle and glamour, finished off with a sequenced flower feature on the right side. So much work has gone into Hair Fair 2010, from the designing of the sims to the designing of the fabulous new hairstyles from contributing designers, and not to mention the numerous bandana's on sale for only 50L. To get your hands on the latest and greatest secondlife hair designs, this is an event not to be missed.
